Reservation Terms and Conditions – Brit Hotel Aux Hortensias Lannion

The use of this website implies full acceptance of our terms and conditions. By using this site, you acknowledge that you are of legal age and capable, and you guarantee the truthfulness and accuracy of the information provided. Any fraudulent or infringing use on your behalf or on behalf of a third party may result in a refusal of access to our services and potential financial liability. These terms and conditions apply to any use of our website brithotel.fr. The offers and terms and conditions presented are valid on the day of consultation. They are periodically updated; however, any booking made will be honored on the date of stay under the specified conditions.

Upon each booking, a confirmation number will be provided to you. It will be necessary for you, if needed, to cancel or modify your reservation or for any communication with Brit Hotel Développement or the hotel.

You can book on the brithotel.fr website until the day of arrival. There is no limitation in advance (except for special offers that may require a minimum notice) as long as rates and availability are provided.

You can also contact our reservation center at the following telephone number: 0825 000 460 (€0.15 including tax/minute) from a landline in France. If you are making a late reservation for the same evening, we advise you to call the hotel directly.

Check-in and check-out times vary from one hotel to another. However, we recommend that you verify these check-in and check-out times at the time of booking.

If you book a room, it will be assigned to you regardless of your arrival time. However, in the case of arrival after 7 p.m., we recommend that you contact the hotel by phone so that, if necessary, the access code to the hotel can be provided to you, or the hotel can be informed of your late arrival and make necessary arrangements. If you fail to do so and encounter an issue upon your arrival at the hotel, neither Brit Hotel nor the hotel can be held responsible.

All orders are guaranteed by credit card, except in the case of a reservation via a loyalty account with Oli Family status, or in the case of a Brit Hotel reservation such as a business trip subject to a contract between the company and Brit Hotel Développement.

In the case of a flexible reservation: the credit card will not be charged; it serves as a guarantee for your reservation, but payment for the stay is made directly at the hotel on the day of arrival or departure (according to the policy specific to each establishment).

In the case of a non-cancelable/non-refundable reservation: The credit card will be charged the full amount of the stay (excluding options) on the day of booking.

Reservation Guarantee / Payment Terms / Deposit

- Pre-Authorization as Deposit:

   - Two days before your arrival, you will receive an email requesting a pre-authorization of €150 as a deposit. Due to increasing incidents of theft, damage, and misconduct, a deposit of €150 is required. If the pre-authorization is not completed via this link, we will ask you to do it upon arrival. The pre-authorization will be released after verification by staff or management a few hours after your departure, following verification of the accommodation used.

- Payment of Stay:

   - The full amount of the stay will be requested at the hotel reception (nights + options) before being accompanied to your room. Payment for extras and additional services (e.g., bar, restaurant) will be made upon invoice issuance on the day of your departure.

- Payment Methods:

   - Only the following payment methods are accepted: Mastercard, Visa, Paylib, contactless payment, cash, American Express, holiday vouchers. Holiday vouchers are only accepted for direct bookings by phone at +33 2 96 48 75 39, up to 80% of the total amount. They are not accepted for bookings made online (through online travel agencies such as Booking, Expedia, Hotels.com). Due to numerous unpaid bills, bank checks are not accepted.

Rates / Cancellation / Promotions

- Flexible Offer:

The Hotel adjusts rates according to supply and demand. By default, you benefit from the flexible rate. Your reservation will be pre-authorised in full at the time of booking. This amount will be released automatically after 7 days or released if you cancel within the free cancellation period.

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to two days before arrival. After this time, 100% of the stay will be charged. These deadlines are counted from the customer's arrival date.

Cancellation conditions applicable to all rates, except special rates specifying particular cancellation conditions.


- Non-Refundable Offer:

   - This offer is non-cancellable, non-refundable, and therefore not modifiable. At the time of booking or within 24 hours of booking, you will receive an email to pay for your stay in full (nights + options). Once payment is made, the reservation will be confirmed. If payment is not made within 24 hours, the flexible rate will apply.

- Cumulation of Offers:

   - The accumulation of offers is not possible (e.g., payment by holiday vouchers for the non-refundable offer or payment via online travel agencies and payment by holiday vouchers).

- Cancellation:

   - In case of cancellation, please notify your online travel agency (e.g., Booking, Expedia, Hotels.com) to cancel the reservation or the hotel reception if you booked directly. Please adhere to the specified cancellation deadlines. The management reserves the right to request cancellation justification via email. We will refund the deposit taken on your credit card two days prior to your arrival.

- Non-Appearance (No-Show):

   - In case of non-appearance (no-show), the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

Hotel Arrival & Departure

- Reception Opening Hours:

   - Rooms are available to guests from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The preceding time is dedicated to room and common area cleaning, COVID-19 disinfection of rooms, and a complete verification of the entire establishment by management.

- Arrival Outside Reception Hours:

   - We ask for an estimated arrival time between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. If you wish to arrive outside of these hours, we will ask you to pay the balance of your stay (e.g., tourist tax, breakfast, drinks, meals, late check-out, baby cot). We will send you a secure payment link by email to settle the balance of your stay. Once payment is made, we will send you all the information related to your accommodation by email.

   - Guests who wish to enjoy a hot beverage in their room can request the rental of an electric kettle. Inquire at the reception desk, subject to availability.

Quiet Hours:

We kindly ask our valued guests to respect the tranquility of the neighborhood. Please speak quietly in the rooms and hotel corridors. For the peace and quiet of the establishment, all noise must cease between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Any disturbance, even during the day, is prohibited. Guests causing disorder or disturbance in any form may be expelled from the hotel without refund of the current stay.

 

Dining:

- **Breakfast Buffet**:

   - Breakfast is served as a buffet with both sweet and savory options. You can enjoy a wide selection of products, including homemade, regional, and 100% French items.

      - From Tuesday to Friday, it is served from 6:45 AM (or 6:30 AM upon request on the day of your arrival) until 10:00 AM.

      - On Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, public holidays, and during the summer season, breakfast starts at 8:00 AM. We kindly ask our guests to arrive by 9:30 AM at the latest to fully enjoy the wide selection of local, homemade, quality, 100% French, sweet, savory, and vegan products.

   - Due to limited seating in the dining area, you may be asked to choose a time slot for breakfast every 30 minutes.

   - Buffet items are for on-site consumption only.

- **In-Room Breakfast**:

   - You can request a breakfast tray to enjoy in your room. Please inquire about pricing at the reception desk.

- **Takeaway Breakfast**:

   - It is possible to order a takeaway breakfast. Please inquire about pricing at the reception desk.

- **Picnic Basket**:

- **Dinner at the Hotel Restaurant**:

   - The hotel offers a dining solution, such as:

      - A range of dishes prepared by a local Breton chef

      - A wide selection of artisanal pizzas

   - Business guests staying at the hotel on a half-board basis are invited to dine between 6:45 PM and 9:15 PM. Beyond this time, we will prepare a meal tray for you to enjoy in your room.

   - Business guests can dine at the Roan restaurant. The restaurant will provide you with a receipt for the meal, which you must present at the reception. The Roan is open from 7:00 PM to 8:25 PM. Any drinks consumed at the restaurant must be paid for at the hotel. The restaurant is closed on Friday evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.

 

Non-Smoking Establishment / No Vaping:

For safety reasons and out of respect for everyone, smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in the rooms, including semi-open private verandas/terraces on the ground floor. The reception area and dining room are also non-smoking. In case of non-compliance with the smoking or vaping ban in the rooms, a fee of 50 euros will be charged for each occurrence noted by the hotel staff.

 

Use of Private Terraces/Balconies:

Private Terrace or Balcony:

Attention! Follow our advice: do not leave any personal belongings or valuables visible from the outside. The establishment disclaims all liability in the event of theft, loss, or damage during the client's stay. Please do not touch the windows of the terraces of rooms 1 to 6. These have been blocked at the request of the security commission and the fire department.

 

Parking - Parking:

The establishment has free parking spaces. They are located all around the main building and in the Nivern Bihan dead-end, located behind the establishment, along the hydrangea hedge on the hotel side or at the end of the Nivern Bihan dead-end perpendicular to the hedge of the residential building (to the left of the dead-end). Please park only in these areas and do not park in the parking lot of the competing hotel located below the Brit Hotel parking lot.

 

Minor Children:

Minors accompanying the client are under the full responsibility of the accompanying adult both inside and outside the establishment. In case of a problem, the client will be held liable.

 

Bar - Terrace - Dining - Extras & Departure from the Hotel:

The hotel terrace is reserved for guests who order drinks directly from the hotel.

 

Departure from the Hotel:

- All extras (bar, dining in the hotel, additional services, etc.) must be paid on-site before departure. In the absence of payment for these services, the amounts will be directly debited.

- Key return on the day of departure:

We kindly ask our valued guests to vacate the rooms and return the keys to the hotel reception by 10:30 AM.

If you wish to have a late check-out, please check the current rates and inform the reception desk. In case of late key return, a supplement of 15 euros per started hour will be charged. A room check may be conducted with or without the presence of the client. Arriving outside the reception hours (before 4:00 PM or after 8:00 PM)

 

 

**Pets:**

Dogs and cats are welcome in the establishment for a daily fee; please inquire about pricing at the reception desk. Dogs and cats are not allowed access to the breakfast room and reception area. For the well-being of the animal, it is strictly forbidden to leave your pet in the car overnight without supervision.

 

**Lost Items / Theft & Damage within the Hotel:**

Items left or abandoned may be sold under the conditions provided by the law of March 31, 1896. If the client requests the return of their belongings by parcel or mail, it must be done with tracking and insurance for valuable items. Shipping will be arranged after the client pays the shipping fees. The hotel is equipped with technological products such as televisions and connection boxes in the rooms. In case of theft or damage in the hotel (e.g., damaged paint, damaged or stolen decorative objects, damaged lighting, torn curtains, scratched windows, loss of key set, partial or complete bedding damage, non-compliance with the smoking ban, etc.), a hotel night will be charged, or more depending on the estimate of damages and restoration work (with supporting quotes).

 

**Fire Alarm:**

The establishment is equipped with a fire safety control panel, including red manual activation buttons located at several points in the hotel. They should only be activated in case of fire. Any accidental activation of the fire alarm due to non-compliance with this provision will incur a charge of €200 for the restoration of the fire safety system, or more depending on the estimate of damages and restoration work (with supporting quotes).

 

**Assistance & Force Majeure Events - Insurance:**

The establishment does not have a night watchman. In case of medical assistance, you can dial 18 (fire brigade), 15 (emergency medical services), or 17 (police emergency). For any other assistance, you can call 02 96 47 48 07 between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

 

**Complaints:**

Any request for information or complaint must be addressed either to the concerned hotel or to the Brit Hotel Development Customer Service (Brit Hotel Development, Neptune Building, 22 rue des Landelles 35135 CHANTEPIE), which will mediate between the parties. Hotels are operated by companies legally independent of Brit Hotel Development, with which they are linked by a brand license agreement, and are therefore solely responsible for any damages to customers. The client is invited to submit any complaint related to a reservation or stay promptly/within 15 days to facilitate processing. Additionally, they should report any inconvenience during their stay to limit potential consequences. The client is urged to present any complaints promptly to facilitate their handling under the best conditions. I acknowledge having read these general sales conditions before making my reservation. Therefore, my reservation implies my full acceptance of Brit Hotel's general sales conditions and their entirety, without reservation. Any disputes relating to the formation, execution, and termination of contractual obligations between the parties that could not be settled amicably will be submitted to Tourism and Travel Mediation (https://www.mtv.travel/). In case of failure, disputes will be brought before the competent French courts of the hotel's registered office, including payment disputes and other recovery procedures.

In most cases, room rentals go from 2pm on the day of arrival to 12pm on the day of departure. However, we advise you to check these arrival and departure times carefully at the time of booking, as there are variations between hotels.
If you book a room, it is allocated to you regardless of your arrival time. Services provided

Although all the activities mentioned in the descriptions have been confirmed to us by our hotels and we have published them in good faith, it may happen for reasons beyond our control that these activities and other services are suspended or terminated without notice to us.

Domestic animals

The hotels are operated by companies independent of Brit Hotel Développement. This is why we recommend that you check with the hotel when you want to accompany pets, as the policy of acceptance or non-acceptance of pets may vary from establishment to establishment, regardless of our decision.

Display of prices

The prices displayed on our website are in euros or in the local currency if applicable. They are displayed all taxes included, excluding a daily and personal tourist tax which can be collected in addition on behalf of the municipality. Our prices can be changed at any time without this being applicable to confirmed bookings, unless there is a change in the legal or regulatory fees imposed by the competent authorities.

Tobacco smell / Additional night billing

In case of tobacco smell in the room, the management of our establishments reserves the right to charge an additional night.

Means of payment

The bank cards accepted in all hotels are VISA and Mastercard. Some establishments accept Diners Club, JCB and American Express cards. The credit card is used to guarantee your reservation. No debit will be made online except in the cases listed below. The total amount of the stay must be paid directly to the hotel.
The credit card will be debited immediately if the booking is a special offer, with immediate prepayment (in the case of offers that cannot be modified or cancelled, for example). In these cases, the amount charged as security amounts to the total amount of the stay.
In all other cases, you will pay for your stay directly at the hotel. This information is clearly indicated in the booking process as well as on the booking confirmation sent by email. Even in the case of a booking whose amount is debited at the time of booking, certain taxes, services or extras are to be paid on the spot. The amount debited at the time of booking includes only the services payable at the time of booking (some options can be booked but are only payable at the hotel) and the tourist tax is always paid at the hotel.
Brit Hotel Développement and/or the hotel directly reserves the right to consider your reservation as cancelled, if the credit card data, transmitted for the guarantee of payment or for the payment, turn out to be defective. If necessary, Brit Hotel Développement and/or the hotel reserves the right to claim damages.

Online payment

Our site proposes a certain number of offers relating to hotels located in France for which only an online payment will be proposed to you. ATTENTION, in this case, no modification, cancellation or refund will be possible, the entire stay will be charged to your credit card. Pursuant to article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for in article L121.21 is not applicable. Payment on the site is made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and via a secure payment system. You will be asked for your credit card number, the cryptogram on the back of your card and its expiration date. Any payment that is irregular, inoperative, incomplete or fraudulent for any reason attributable to the customer will result in the cancellation of the order at the customer's expense, without prejudice to any civil or criminal action against the customer. Any order execution follows the following steps: you indicate to us the criteria of your request, we propose you one or more offers, you choose the offer that suits you, the summary of your order is displayed (detail and total price), you check and if necessary correct your order, you validate definitively your order after having validated our general conditions of sale, you proceed to the online payment in secure mode, a detailed confirmation of your order is displayed on the screen (to print and to keep), you will receive within a maximum of one hour a detailed confirmation of your order at the e-mail address you have communicated to us. The booked stay is definitively acquired to you only after the effective debit of your credit card and the reception of our confirmation. Confirmation shall be deemed to represent the agreement of the parties.

Deposits

Some hotels, especially those located in tourist areas, may require you to make a deposit or down payment upon reservation. The reservation centre does not intervene in these particular conditions and the transaction must take place between the hotel and the client. The amount and conditions of the deposit must be clearly explained to the guest by the hotel and must be accepted by the guest before any transaction. These exchanges must be made exclusively in writing. In the case of deposit or down-payment, the reservation becomes firm and definitive only after receipt of said payment by the hotelier. The balance of the reservation will be paid on the spot directly with the hotel owner.

Modification of the reservation

Changes to the reservation (change of dates of stay, names, number of persons of type or number of rooms, etc.) are allowed, except for the rates marked "not modifiable". They are subject to the same deadlines as cancellations (see paragraph "Cancellation of the reservation and exceptions") in cases where the modification concerns the cancellation of a certain number of nights of the reservation. In this case, the cancellation rules apply.

Reservation cancellation and exceptions
Except for non-modifiable, non-cancellable offers and in the case of online payment, any cancellation can be made at the reservation centre or at the hotel:
Cancellations are not subject to a fee if made before midnight the day before arrival. Cancellations after this deadline will be charged a fee equivalent to the amount of the first night.
For reservations guaranteed by deposit or down payment, regardless of the cancellation period, the refunding of all or part of the sum paid by the customer is left to the hotel owner's discretion. The hotel will have previously informed the customer of its conditions on this point.
Our site may make promotional offers for which no cancellation or modification is possible. Pursuant to article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for in article L121-21 is not applicable.
In case of late cancellation (apart from the delay of cancellation without fees) or no-show, the hotel owner will be able to charge the credit card you gave as security for the reservation. An invoice may be issued upon request. If it is impossible to debit the credit card, we will contact you so that you can give us the details of another credit card.

Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, the hotelier may disregard the deadlines required for modification and cancellation without charge. It may decide not to apply a penalty. In this case, it is entitled to ask the customer for a proof of force majeure. Brit Hotel Développement does not intervene in these decisions, which are made by the hotel owner alone.
Brit Hotel Développement means by force majeure, any event external to the parties having an unpredictable and insurmountable nature that prevents either the customer, the travellers, or the agency or service providers involved in carrying out the trip, from performing all or part of the obligations provided for in the contract. This will be the case in particular with regard to strikes by hotel staff, insurrection, riots and any prohibition issued by the Governmental or public authorities. It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends, for the parties, the execution of their reciprocal obligations. At the same time, each of the parties shall bear all the costs which are incumbent on it and which result from the event of force majeure: consequently, travellers shall bear only the additional costs which could be incurred to enable the continuation of the journey following the occurrence of a case of force majeure.
In the event that, for any reason beyond its control, a hotel is unable to secure the reservation made, it will make its best efforts to relocate you at its own expense to a hotel of at least equivalent category located nearby.

Claims

Any request for information or complaint should be addressed either to the hotel concerned, or to Brit Hotel Développement Customer Service (Brit Hotel Développement, Immeuble Neptune, 22 rue des Landelles 35 135 CHANTEPIE), which will ensure mediation between the parties. In this regard, we draw your attention to the fact that hotels are operated by companies legally independent of Brit Hotel Développement, to which they are bound by a trademark license agreement, and are therefore solely liable to customers for any damages. The customer is invited to submit any complaint related to a reservation or stay as soon as possible/under 15 days, in order to facilitate the processing. He must also have taken care during his stay to report any inconvenience in order to limit the possible consequences.
 
The customer is invited to exercise the utmost diligence in the presentation of any complaint in order to allow its treatment in the best conditions.
